Common causes of neck pain are weakness of the neck or shoulder muscles, incorrect posture or prolonged sitting in the same posture, ligament injury, etc.


 Neck pain can occur at any age.  Some are for a short time, some are for a long time.  Resting reduces one's pain.  Again, no one is less, but also spread on the hands or back.  Sometimes it is difficult to move the head due to neck pain.


 The part of the seven bones from the bottom of the head to the top of the spine is called the cervical region.  There are seven vertebrae in this cervical region.  It is accompanied by some ligaments and muscles, which connect the neck and head.  Pain is felt due to any injury to the neck or due to excessive tension of the muscles or loss of bone in the neck.

 Refrain from working in the same way for a long time.


  Soft and low pillow should be used while sleeping.


 Do some regular exercise as advised by the physiotherapist.


 Avoid carrying anything heavy on the head and shoulders.


 Rest as needed.


 Be careful while traveling so that there is no impact on the neck.


 Do not stay in a soft bed and high pillow for a long time.


 No massage can be done on the neck to treat neck pain.


 If you have neck or shoulder pain, you should take medicine as per the advice of the doctor.  Good benefits can be obtained by boiling lukewarm water on the neck.  For those who need to lean forward for work, they can use the cervical collar as a neck support.  If there is pain due to wrong posture, it needs to be corrected.  Exercise regularly as advised by a specialist physiotherapist.  Depending on the type of pain, it can be treated with some physical and radiological tests.
