  Apply ice to shoulder-armpits or groin


 Arrange for immediate hospitalization.

 Following a few rules on a hot day can help prevent heat stroke:


 Wear loose clothing, it is better to have light colored cotton cloth


 Stay indoors or in a shady place whenever possible


 Use a hat, cap or umbrella when going out in the sun

 Do not walk in the sun for a long time.


 Avoid strenuous physical activity in summer.


 Most of the heat stroke patients recover completely if the necessary measures are taken at the earliest and proper treatment is taken at the hospital.
