 Today is World Sleep Day. March 2007 has been celebrated as Sleep Day every year since 2006 to create awareness about the importance of sleep for good health. This year it fell on 19 March.  In the age of extreme busyness, the present generation has fallen asleep. From which various diseases are building nests. What exactly does sleep have to do with wellness, does the amount and method of sleep differ according to age? What are the doctors saying?


 It is generally said to sleep 8 hours a day. Experts say sleep time depends on a number of factors, including age, physical condition, activity, and weight. The Sleep Foundation has given a schedule in this regard. Many people are proud of their lack of sleep.  Many say it has become a long-standing habit. After sleeping for a few hours.


 What can be the problem of less sleep?

 Sleep deprivation leads to fatigue.  Concentration decreases. As a rule, if you don't sleep for 7-8 hours, your patience will decrease. The mood goes up. Growth hormone is secreted more during sleep.So when the baby sleeps less, they do not grow properly.

 1.  Make time to go to bed and wake up.


 2.  If you have a habit of sleeping during the day, it should not be more than 45 minutes.


 3.  Do not drink alcohol before bed.  Do not smoke at all before going to bed.


 4.  Never exercise before going to bed. Don't go to bed eating too much spicy food.


 5.  Sleep in a comfortable bed.
