When the insulin hormone secreted by the body's pancreas fails to control blood glucose levels, it is called diabetes. The risk of developing or being affected by diabetes is increasing. Even children and adolescents have an increased risk of developing type 2 diabetes. In type 1 diabetes, the beta cells that secrete insulin are destroyed. As a result, the infected person becomes insulin dependent.  Type 2 diabetes is caused by eating habits, lifestyle and hereditary factors.


 

 Be aware of silent killer diabetes.  

 Obesity, high blood pressure, high blood fats, family history, stress or fatigue, habit of drinking excess sugar or soft drinks, alcohol and smoking, people who do no work or exercise are at higher risk of developing type-2 diabetes. If you are overweight after 35 years of age or earlier, you need to have your blood glucose measured regularly. Children and adolescents who are overweight, underweight or whose mothers had gestational diabetes also need to have their blood glucose tested at least once a year or in some cases more than once if they have any symptoms of diabetes.

 

 Ways to prevent type-2 diabetes

 Weight loss will be followed by fatigue and constant tiredness, weight gain and age, and moderation and a balanced diet.  Excess sugar, salt, fat, fast food, extra refined foods (white rice, flour, etc.), fried foods, processed foods, soft drinks, etc. should be avoided.  People suffering from high blood pressure should avoid high salt foods, beef fat, butter, cheese and eat plenty of vegetables and fruits for potassium, calcium and magnesium. Quit smoking and alcohol. Must be physically active daily. As well as exercise or walking habits should be kept. You can't sleep immediately after eating.  Go to bed after at least two hours.
